Oct-24 It has been a fabulous week and everybody seems to have enjoyed this anniversary congress. Congratulations to the team of Great Britain for their first place in the 31st World Chess Solving Championship (for the third time in a row!) and to John Nunn for his convincing win (he missed only 1 point in the threemovers round!)

Ofer Comay from Israel was the winner of the Open Solving Tournament with a perfect score (as four other solvers!), just 3 minutes faster than Arno Zude from Germany who was second. Arno Zude won in the Solving Show repeating his last year's success, Marjan Kovačević dominated in the Open Quick Solving once more and the pair of Nikos Kalesis and Kostas Prentos were first in the Bughouse chess tournament.

Full results and photos are available at the PCCC and Solving Chess sites. You may also get the bulletin with the complete tables and the awards of the composing tourneys as a PDF file. In order to view and print this file, you need the free Adobe Reader, which you can get from here.
